Question on Power Animals…

Today an interesting question arose on the subject of ‘Power Animals’, are there more than one and what do they mean? I responded as follows…

There are power animals that come and go and some that stay forever.

Those that stay are usually past pets with which one has had a close bond and they are always around owners in mediumship circles. Whilst working as a medium I have seen Eagles for upliftment, Bears and Wolves for Strength and Protection, and Owls for wisdom.

Think about it simply and you will see the plain truth. Namaste from AlanC.

They never leave us…

Yesterday, whilst in Church, working as a spiritual medium in open circle, I gave some messages to attendees from their loved ones. One was from a child spirit that had passed after only a short time on Earth and wanted to reach her Mother. Another was from an older man who was coming through to reach his wife. The messages were personal and unique to the recipient, with appropriate (and particular) validation to prove authenticity. The individual messages are private and confidential to those concerned, of course, but the essence of them was very similar.

Spirit energies are around us all the time and our loved ones do not ‘leave’ us, when they revert back to their spiritual essence, at death of the physical form. Our loved ones share every moment with us, they send love and happiness when we are celebrating and they send support energy when we feel down. However, one should not feel ‘spied upon’ where spirit is concerned. Nor should one feel ‘guilty’ if, for periods of time, long or short, their thoughts do not turn to those departed loved ones. Our loved ones do not feel abandoned nor do they bear any malice. In fact they bear no negative feelings at all towards those they love.

Spirit energies can be ‘dark’ or ‘light’, it is true for cosmic balance. However, the service of the Church and its Ministers (the mediums themselves), are directed, through training and higher spiritual guidance, to place protection around proceedings. Mediums, (sometimes called ‘Light Workers!’) will only interact with positive energies and energies ‘from the light’, therefore loved ones can be assured that there messages are from ‘friendly’ sources. I personally, have given positive messages from negative energies (not dark energies), that prove people on earth that were psychologically ‘down’, can be healed and uplifted once they make the transition back to spirit.

Our loved one’s still share our lives, still feel pride at our achievements and sympathise with our pain and suffering, often sending us signs of their presence and support, which we quite often miss! If you have a loved one in spirit, remember this. They will always love us and they miss our physical interaction(s) too and they also long for the day, when our energy ‘essence’ may be reunited with theirs, in the natural cycle of birth, death and spiritual renewal that is life itself.

Change for the better…

Bus Blast in Volgograd and threatened Hanging in Iran…

The UK ‘BBC News’ recently referred to the death of five people from a bus blast and there was also a bulletin referring to a threat to hang a drug smuggler in Iran, whose previous hanging had failed.

There is a contrast here some would say, between ‘slaughter of innocents’ and someone, that some may perhaps say, deserves their ‘just desserts’. But is this so? Is there a common thread here, on the basis of asking a simple question…is it right that any human should decide the fate (death) of another human being?

There is potential for putting forward Religious and Political arguments, both ‘for and against’ on each incident. This is where Human Kind fails. The Spiritual argument is simple. Every soul deserves to live in peace. Only when someone steps across the boundary of not treating someone else with love and respect, should a punishment be considered. But who decides such punishment? Should such punishment include death? What is death then? Is that the end of the matter?

Whatever your religious or political persuasion, the fact remains that death is a great ‘leveller’. However, is it really the ultimate ‘end of the matter’? If you asked the victim or physically departed, or indeed a spiritualist medium about this, they may well beg to differ!

A human being does not generally see beyond the physical world. The average person would conclude on this basis, that death is indeed the end of the matter. However, if that same person lost a loved one, then they would usually seek solace in the notion that death was not the end, but was in fact the beginning of a transition to a new plane of life! There are those that also believe furthermore, that such transition is also only part of a cycle of re-incarnation leading to re-birth. Where then, does that leave us? If forced Death was acceptable, then why bother with life at all? That is another fundamental in itself and is dealt with in another part of astralunity.com.

As it stands, human kind is failing in its duty, as regards the notion of earthly life being a phase in a much larger ‘lifecycle’ of the spirit or soul (which again in themselves are distinctly different yet mutually inclusive elements of human existence)! Is it fair to state that the responsibility of human kind then…is to ensure that all life is nurtured, respected and cared for in an environment of Love and Peace? Where transgressions are in evidence against others on the part of human beings, should we not educate and condition the transgressor to prepare him or her for the next life, rather than despatch them to that next life without correction? Does this not mean we have failed in our collective duty of care toward that person if we simply send them on their way without affording them enlightenment?

One could (or rightly should) argue, that it is time (or never too late at least) to remodel the global society and incorporate some necessary elements. Such elements must acknowledge the fact that the physical life is only a phase amongst other facets, that are individual yet collective parts of the overall essence of being human. We need to remove political and religious bias and human prejudice, until all that is left is sound reason and the spiritual connection that binds us all. New principles will beget greater advancement for all human kind and, from increased enlightenment, each and every individual will be in a position to perpetuate love and peace for the ultimate benefit of all life.

World Leaders, the gauntlet has been cast!

I Am Not Gone

I am not gone
While you cry with me
I am not gone
While you smile with me
I am not gone
While you remember with me

I will come
When you call my name
I will come
When I feel your pain
I will come
On your final day

It could never be
That we
Would never be

We shall always
Be together
Forever

I am not gone.

Join the dots…

Reading the news on the BBC today, I notice reference to a lack of and therefore shortage, in research on the subject of Breast Cancer.

What strikes me is that there are a proliferation of charities in many countries, that could all be working to the same aim with a common purpose, in many different areas (not just cancer research) if only there was a way of co-ordinating their funding and ‘pooling’ the effort they expend!

I understand that Companies have an incentive not to co-operate in such research, when related ‘in-house’ advances provide a commercial edge, but what about the humane edge? Corporates too have their part to play then!

There will hopefully come a day when people realise that the overiding reason for any advancement should not be profit related but humanity related. ‘People’ should be placed before ‘Money’ in an environment where a formula is reached to compensate all concerned for their share in development, through the returns made after deployment of life saving drugs and treatments. It may sound utopian at present, but that is because the concept is alien under current operational frameworks.

There are some fine academic institutions around the World and some extremely capable scientists around the World in industry but also in all walks of life. Also let us not forget the invaluable resource that is in retirement. Let us hope and pray that someone in a position of responsibility, with that spark of conscience and necessary leadership, can be encouraged and supported to bring such resources together and eventually put a stop to the endless waste and duplication in cross country activities. The World is one. Therefore so should the efforts of people responsible for the World be co-ordinated as one, for the greater good of the World’s population. This includes a requirement for individuals to think also not just of themselves and their loved ones, but also their extended family, on a global scale.

We all have our part to play!

Time to build our global bond…

As we read about death and destruction with car bombings in Baghdad, troubles in Syria and the horrific market place blast in Peshawar, let us find space in our hearts for a prayer in the name of all those innocents who are affected as a consequence.

It is time to stop causing untold human pain and suffering in the name of religion, power, politics and personal gain. May the World be at peace and exist in an environment of Love and enlightenment. This is the way forward and is the only goal that we should all collectively strive toward if seeking to preserve global humanity.

We are all blessed with the gift and foresight to choose the right path. It is a divine blessing that allows us all to distinguish right from wrong. It is time now that those in a position to inflict pain or suffering, or even mental anguish on others, realise that they must exercise their right (and obligation) to refuse this path of darkness in favour of the true path toward Love and Peace. The karma of our actions now will revisit us in future generations so it is more essential now, than it ever was, to effect such change for the better.

A question of faith…

As we contemplate the collapse of a church at Monterrey in Mexico and consider the sad passing of the 10 Year old boy involved in this incident. Let us not forget to celebrate this child and acknowledge the light he brought to others in his short life on earth.
It is easy to criticise and say “how can god allow this to happen?”  Do you think some of the 200 congregation in the service during the time of the collapse, did not immediately consider their faith and question god’s integrity in this catastrophe? Maybe for just an instant! However, this was not an ‘Act of God’ but an event brought about from the building of a temporary man made structure! The enlightened amongst us all , will know that Regardless of the outcome, the reality is nonetheless the same. The essence of this child will be protected and live on, thanks to mercy of our ultimate divine spirit, who is always there to pick up the pieces after humankind has fallen!
May this child and his family be remembered at this difficult time. May all those facing similar tragic loss also be remembered with great affection and warmth by the rest of us as a global family. What we do to help others at the time of such tragedies is important, but so also, is what we do afterwards by way of directing love and support to all those who are left affected by it.
