Emergence…

The journey was tough
The sun faded and I had no more to give
All around me was barren
My starved body was torn and bruised
My mind just a confused blur
Vestiges of memories came as words and images
It seemed to be the end
I waited for my last breath

As I laid down and contemplated eternal rest
I sensed the presence…
I felt the energy of something close to me
It was then that I just knew…
This was not the end, but the beginning!

Loss

Why is it that people cannot see, the beauty around both you and me
The leaves on the trees and the ones on the ground
Listen to the birds. Such a beautiful sound

The animal kingdom, the large and the small
Beautiful flowers, God made them all
Positive energy we send, In the form of prayer
To the ill and the starving, who suffer everywhere

Dear Lord, Heavenly Father, Creator of Heaven and Earth
At Christmas time, we celebrate your Son’s birth
We decorate our trees, with tinsel and holly
It is the season to be jolly!

Light up the fires, and watch the glow
Look out the window, “The picturesque snow”
A time for exchanging, our simple gifts
No more quarrelling, put an end to the rifts

My 1st Christmas, without “My Dear Mother”
The pain I feel, is like no other
But there’s a lot of people, suffering with grief
The key word here is “belief”

Death is not the end, its the start of a new life
Wether you have lost, your “husband or wife”
When “sons, daughters and babies” depart
Beautiful memories, remain in our heart

So out with the old, and in with the new
No-more sadness, and feeling blue
If you have no place to go, and are left in the lurch
We welcome you to our “Elite Spiritualist Church”

Messages from loved ones, Laughter, singing and prayer
And the importance of “our healing chair”
So Almighty Father, heaven above
We learn to give and receive, In form of “Love”

Book of Life…

The Book of Life is brief
And once a page is read
All but Love is dead
This is my belief

In the blink of an eye…

30 Years passed in a sonic boom
Sunlight flashes in a different room
They both know their saying goodbye to soon
But there’s no more time…

WHY DO WOMEN STAY

AU is pleased to publish this heart rending post from contributor Yvonne Maria Wickes:

Why do I stay?
Words can’t convey,
The pain I feel,
It doesn’t seem real.
Life’s a blur, too many tears,
Can’t leave now, too many fears.
Be quiet, shut up; stop the kids from crying,
Where have you been? Why are you lying?
Where’s my food? Why isn’t it made?
Get a job then you’ll get paid!
All you seem to do is moan,
I have no money for the phone.
The car outside is for me,
Get round the shops and get my tea!
Life is weary; it’s hard to think,
I’ll feel better after that drink.
Kids are crying, I’m feeling low,
It’s definitely time to go.
My only way out was to write a letter,
Maybe now things will get better.
So if you need a hand and feeling low,
Not really sure of where to go,
A friendly face, a cuppa tea,
“My Sisters Place”
Is the place to be!

IS LOVE BLIND?

I just answered a poll on Spiritual Networks asking if love was blind. Here is my take:-

I believe Love is, or at least can make you ‘Blind’ from the perspective of true and unconditional love! For the last 5 months I have been on a spiritual journey through Hell, as my wife of 30 years allowed another influence into our marriage! The problem is that if I could have looked past the Love I WOULD have been able to reduce the pain I experienced by some months! My love has been ripped out of me by the roots! It is debatable whether I should have stuck with the betrayal so long but hey, 30 years of a decent marriage means one must at least try to tough it out and give it a go! I am not saying that the pain wasn’t necessary, as I have learnt a lot from the experience, but the fact is that if I had allowed my guts and my head some free reign, and not my heart, I would have realised that my wife was changing as a person and that she was wanting a different course in life as she approached her mid life term! What is interesting however, is that my overall advice to someone, even after this bitter experience, would still be the same. If there is someone special in your life give them your purest and most unconditional love, just be prepared to accept that they are their own person and it is purely through their own goodwill that such love may be returned in kind! x

Forgiveness…

How can we forgive someone who has wronged us?

For every wrong doing there is an underlying cause. This does not mean that such wrong doing is justifiable but nonetheless, mitigating factors (the other side of the coin) must be considered. Without such consideration there is no balance. The person(s) who would commit the wrong doing would have a reason(s) (justifiable to them at the time) for engaging in such voluntary action. The act of forgiveness is not necessarily the same as acceptance of the wrong doing, nor is it condoning any wrong doing and neither will it remove the pain. It is simply the ability to rationalise awareness of the whole scenario and come to an understanding of all the facts, as they relate to human nature and the circumstances surrounding the act. Being able to forgive, demonstrates the ability for evolved thinking and rationalisation and is a clear indication of higher spiritual awareness.

May you find Peace and enlightenment through your forgiveness.

Thought Lesson…

Sometimes we underestimate people and often take them for granted. Walking over them as we would pebbles on a beach. But if we stopped and looked in between those pebbles, we would see great jewels of quartz and other stones that bring healing and love energy. So it is with this Lesson. Do not tread on that pebble and miss the real beauty, Love energy and wisdom surrounding it. Never take people for granted. Think before you act. One cannot recall the pain that ensues from ill conceived thoughts, words and deeds directed towards others!

Spirit Rescue…

You know…I once engaged in a spirit rescue. I purged a woman of an evil spirit by prayer and a foul smelling demon exuding goodness only knows what, came right up to my face to threaten me! I was scared. He’ll yes! But I calmed myself with golden light and the words just came to me…I said “I fear nothing more, than I fear the Lord our God”. The Demon stopped dead in its tracks, looked angry (read frustrated because its intimidation did not work)…then quite bizzarely it laughed and flew off. With the demon out of the woman’s aura, she picked up right away.

I do not recommend others engage in such activity. I was advised throughout by my spirit guides and I was very well protected. Such ‘rescue’ work does go on though, through specialism as a consequence of development in medium circles. What you can take from this example, is the message that we all have the ability to send Love and Protection to others through prayer and it works!

The difference between Soul and Spirit

When posed with the question of what is Soul and what is Spirit here is our answer…

Yin=Soul & Yang=Spirit and is the balance between development of morality and conscience of the human essence, and the guiding principles of higher spiritual awareness.
