From the seed… to the seed!

There was once a man and a woman, and from them sprung a global family..

Once upon a time all peoples in that family were together, now they are separated..

The Languages we speak were once the same, now there are many..

Along came ( ? )

The Languages can now reunite through English..

Separate peoples can now reunite through technology..

Through unity, the family love our founding parents created can be re-established and immortalised..

We all have our part to play as the ( ? ). The ( ? ) is limited only be our own contribution to society!

Picking up the pieces…

I have recently been through the torment of Divorce…

Yet Here am I…

Stage 1… awareness, disbelief, feelings of betrayal, death of self respect..

Stage 2… confusion, worry, hopes of reconciliation, looking back..

Stage 3… realisation, acceptance, rationalisation..

Stage 4… re-birth of spirit, re-emergence of self, looking forward..

Remember that people are themselves first. What happens is their will. One can either disbelieve and lengthen the pain process or accept this and shorten the healing process.

Love and Peace

Suicide… Don’t Do IT!

Life may seem desperate… Don’t do it…

Whatever you do… don’t do it
lives would be shattered… don’t do it
People would miss you… don’t do it
I would miss you… don’t do it

Life can be better… don’t do it
Things will pick up… don’t do it
It may take some time… don’t do it
People CAN help… don’t do it

We know you’re in pain… don’t do it
It saddens our hearts… don’t do it
Give life a chance… don’t do it
At least let us try… don’t do it

Depression can be fixed… don’t do it
light can return… don’t do it
There are many ways forward… don’t do it
Share your burden… don’t do it

Talk and discuss your feelings with others when you are low and contemplating suicide. Many viewpoints and means of help can be provided by family, friends and even strangers, that may set you off on the path to recovery and upliftment. Thoughts of suicide are usually based on particular circumstances and negative influences apparent at a particular point of one’s life, that are a phase and will heal and be overcome with time. Even through grief, the body can adapt and heal the troubled mind, given time and a support structure. The support structure comes from involving others and sharing your thoughts, fears, concerns and even aspirations. So if your life circumstances are currently causing you to consider suicide… PLEASE… Don’t do it!

Where are you?

A Post suggested by and dedicated to David George (a Dear Friend) for all who have lost a female loved one. Lyrics from the Cat Stevens’ song of the same name.

I know I think a lot
But somehow it just doesn’t help
It only makes it worse
The more I think
The more I know
The more it hurts

With only solitude
To meet me like a friend
Oh, where are you?
Where are you?
Where are you?

Maybe she sits alone
Beyond the storm
Across the raging torrent of the sea
She knows I want her
And she knows I’ll always be

How can I live without the love
I cannot see
Oh where are you?
Where are you ?
Where are you?

I know there’s someone there
I hear her breathe
Behind the silence of the dark
But I know that I won’t see
‘Til we open up our eyes together
She’ll look at me
What a moment that moment will be

And she looks so light
I could fly her through the night

I know I think a lot
But somehow it just doesn’t help
It only goes to show
That what you never miss
You never know

But I have loved you from the moment
That we knew
Oh, I love you
I love you
But where are you?

Merry Christmas…?

As festivities start and people stir,
Enjoying Christmas and New Year
We remember all of those we love
That have crossed the veil to Heaven above

I know you too, have crosses to bear
That make life hard this time of Year
But remember please there are those around
that care enough, to keep you sound

Though the days are long, and nights are longer
Our Love endures and makes us stronger
For those around us that need our hand
In times of hardship we can understand

So whilst sitting in the quiet, reflect on this
Knowing life is crazy and ‘hit and miss’
There are things we can do, to help others along
So that when they are weak, we can be strong.

Wishing you all…a POSITIVE Christmas!

Dedicated to Marlene and family, Trish and family, Dave G and family and the lovely Mo.

Christmas…

Commercialisation makes it easy to forget, what the festival of giving ‘Christmas Presents’, is all about.

The Christian justification for giving presents, was found in the Biblical ‘Magi’s’ act of bearing gifts to the infant Jesus, and in the concept that Christ, was a gift from God to the world, bringing in turn the gift of redemption and everlasting life. The Magi, also referred to as the (Three) Wise Men or (Three) Kings, were a group of distinguished foreign dignitaries who, after following a bright Star, visited Jesus after his birth, bearing gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.

The gifts provided to Jesus were symbolic and generally speaking, had the following meaning:

Gold is fairly obviously explained for value and prosperity, Frankincense is a perfume, and Myrrh, is an anointing oil.

The three gifts also had a spiritual meaning: gold as a symbol of kingship on earth, frankincense (an incense) as a symbol of deity or God, and myrrh (an embalming oil) as a symbol of mortality.

There are other interpretations, sometimes described more generally as; ‘Gold’ symbolizing virtue, ‘Frankincense’ symbolizing prayer, and ‘Myrrh’ symbolizing suffering. Whatever the interpretation however, these gifts contrast with the Jews’ traditional offerings of ‘sheep’ and ‘calves’, leading to the assertion that the Magi worshiped Jesus as God!

Incidentally, there has also been suggestions that Joseph and Mary used the gold to finance their travels when they fled Bethlehem, after the magi had warned them about King Herod’s plan to kill Jesus. Another story proposes that the myrrh given to them at Jesus’ birth was the very lotion used to anoint Jesus’ body after his crucifixion.

So what would be a modern equivalent of such gifts… ipads? mobile phones? the latest greatest camera? All of these are gifts that are a spin-off of the technological age. Perhaps indicative of communication, yet their use could be quite the opposite. Promoting isolation and a lack of social interaction. This would be the opposite of the teachings ascribed to Jesus and the prophets of the past seeking to promote social closeness and mutual love and respect for each other.

Well, Gold is an obvious choice and any item of jewellery could be a modern equivalent. As for frankincense, any item from a perfume shop should suffice.

Myrrh, as a symbol of mortality, is a different matter altogether, and needs some careful thought if not to be morbid. It would be fair to suggest, that a suitable alternative may well be a scarf or body covering of some sort, (i.e. as a form of shroud), as the thought of embalming fluid as a Christmas present is not attractive in the least!

So what gift to give then…? I would leave you with your own thoughts on that matter. Perhaps this question is rhetorical, but throughout history you can see that the value of the gift is NOT necessarily relevant. Jesus through his own Christmas story has taught us that it is the joy of giving that is the greatest gift of all!

Thank you and Merry Christmas!

Contact from Spirit…

AU has replied to a query… My Dead Father

From J…

My father who died 9 years ago is been disturbing my normal dreams, no matter what I’m dreaming he just appears on them, I don’t know why, I’ve asked him while I’m dreaming what he is doing in my dreams but he doesn’t talk to me, he died in a tragic way, so I don’t know if he wants to say something.

Thanks for any help.

Astral Unity

Hi J,

In my experience, there are many reasons why spirit contact us. Usually it is when our thoughts are turning to thinking of them and wondering how they are doing in the spirit world.

However, there are also occasions when spirit are drawn close by problems on the physical side. They come to offer love and healing energy and I suspect this is the case with your visit(s). You have done the right thing by asking why your father has chosen to visit you. All that is left really is to consult a medium or visit a spiritualist church open circle, where you may well receive a more definitive message. On a more general note you should work through your immediate circle of close friends and immediate family, as it could well be that there is someone there that needs help, but is sitting on their problems.

Another possible answer is that you could actually be emerging as a medium yourself. I myself, received re-awakening calls during my sleep, (typically just going over or just as emerging from sleep) as I had known mediumship traits at an early age. My post on this on AU ‘Philosophy of self’ may also give you an indication of what this means.

Love and Peace be with you from AlanC at astralunity.com

Why our messages are important…

From my Facebook Page…

JL…

Foreigners think we Americans are crazy…I had an online friend mention once..all “you guys” (Americans) always post over FB are quotes on this, on that, on life, on Empowerment, on living better lives. etc…..And they often laugh because it’s like selling a false dream or hope, when we can truly be free by not being the standard.
Not thinking like we were conditioned to think, not because of hope, but because life allows for experiences that could potentially free your mind further and allow true freedom, however that may look like. hmn… I can only say, I understand the point and we are truly guarded when it comes to our reasoning and ideas as a collective. But, to think this should be the norm of healthy thinking and positive mindset, could potentially keep you as a cheerleader for likes on FB and in life without living the example you are posting. Are we truly so biased when it comes to protecting the way we think? Meaning is America really the free land we portray it to be and we should feel so proud as to pat each other in the back because of positive thinking and likemindedness?

AU’s Answer…

Astral Unity I, as a foreigner (non-American) suggest this shows limited thinking on your friends part. Societal norms these days are insular and anti-social, with use of Technology that reinforces such. However you and indeed, we, use this media to bring enlightenment and upliftment and reinforcement of faith to the world. The fact that we can do this is truly a sign of free will and freedom of speech. The fact that we can do this together, all faiths and all nationalities is also another miracle and sign of our evolving ‘oneness’ on this Earth! This all goes to serve the fundamental that whilst there could be insular behaviour, we are providing the necessary counter balance. In effect the societal Yin to the Yang.
