Angels Need To Fly…
Borrowed from Heaven
The Angels fly
Making their way
Down from the sky Choosing carefully
What life to live
The experiences,
That life can give They come among us
To shine their light
Grandad’s light
Was lovely and bright Gentle and warm
And one of a kind
His light remains in…
Our hearts and minds So although he’s returned
To up above
I treasure the time,
He spent with us… The light he’s left us
In our hearts is bright
And he’s with us always
Day and night Smiling down
From heaven above
Till we meet again

Cracks on the pavement…
Its getting too cold now
The rain, damp, wetting through
No place to go
Nothing to do
I could ask for help
But then, whats the use?
They see our labels
Our oft, brand new shoes
If one person fakes it
That spoils our help call
But the new clothes and shoes
were donated by all
Yes, please believe it
There are people that give
Thats how we survive,
That’s how we live!
Surviving daily in fear
suffering depression, ill health
tired, weak and hungry
in the divide caused by wealth
We are caught in a spiral
stuck dead in our tracks
Just more homeless people
caught in the cracks.
Please spare a thought for the homeless this winter!

There but for the grace of God…go I…
Some people will lose their home today
Some people will spend the last of their money today
Some people will go hungry today
Some people will suffer abuse today
Some people will fear for their future today
Some people we are today!
If the opportunity presents itself, help someone less fortunate today, help them in order to help yourself!

Spirit energies…
During a recent readings night, I gave six people messages from spirit, in a lengthy, individual readings session. What is interesting is that each person was attending this service, not to find a particular loved one ( which is quite correct), but to receive love, support and guidance from any of their loved ones who had passed. Spirit entities were particularly keen to impart messages of love and support, and also help give direction to those who could not see a way forward in life for themselves.
The love of spirit is always enduring, in terms of providing assurances as to their continued existence and proof of ‘life’ after physical passing, and indeed validations of such, were provided to commence the readings. However, from this activity, I determined that the love of spirit extends far beyond this concept alone. I know not the boundaries of what spirit is, and is not, allowed to do for physical beings, but that evening I was privileged to be a channel for something much larger than our human comprehension. In this activity I found an all embracing love that extends well beyond the now, that stretches to the extremes of a persons lifetime on earth, and to a time when spirits will at some point in the future, be re-united with their loved ones again.
I give thanks to those energies that surround us and are an every-day part of our life, and I thank those higher energies that allow such interactions to take place. May we all be blessed with the love of spirit and be open to receive the guidance we need to maintain focus in our lives.
Love, Peace and Divine Blessings to all. X

Spiritualism Easy or Not?
Astral Unity posted a comment on Gabriel Szczurek’s poll “Is spirituality becoming a fix all pill without the work?”.
In my view one cannot be ‘spiritual’ (define spiritual?) WITHOUT working at it. At first…to achieve realisation…then constantly thereafter to maintain it! Spirituality in terms of an enlightened interaction with those spirit energies around us, human or otherwise, is not possible without constantly checking oneself, as one climbs that upwards spiral in order to reach kundalini. As Kundalini is not a steady state, one must then be prepared to put in an ever increasing amount of energy thereafter in order to re-attain it. If this concept is a bit ‘high brow’, then consider unconditional love of others as a meditation, and how easy it is to revert to ‘animal’ type when something as simple as someone pulling out in a car in front of you happens! It’s a long road to travel before you get to the point of seeing everything from a different and more rounded point of view and accepting it, offering blessings and forgiveness for such actions, in order to counter even the slightest negative energy before it takes hold!!!
Love and Peace to all.

Wounds still open…
My Dearest,
Since your passing, I have never once forgotten you.
That empty chair, items laying undisturbed, the stillness of night…all are a bleak and constant reminder of you, yet lead to the love we still share.
Lay with me when I sleep. Light the corners of my mind when I daydream. Be close to me at the break of every new day. Take my hand. I still feel you! I still sense you! I will always love you.
I think not, now, only of the raw loss. I know there is more to life and to me! I will give what I can, while I can. As footsteps in the sand you will carry me. When needed, you will help me to carry others.
When I cry now it is bitter yes, but my tears are for those whose pain is yet to come. As I know the twists and turns of the journey I have suffered, so may I be there to help others as they follow.
I give thanks for the memories and moments we have shared. As this life is but a twinkle of a star in the cosmos, rest assured that we will be together to laugh, love and reminisce soon enough.
May the Lord be ever with you.

What about ‘Free Will’?
I once asked this question of a spirit guide through a development circle of mediums!
Previously I had asked a spirit in trance mediumship, if we could choose not to reincarnate and return to earth? On that occasion the spirit said no we had to reincarnate and return when we were told. I asked then if we could choose the person we returned as, and again the spirit said no.
In meditation then, I challenged this with my Spirit Guides and said where is the free will? as what we were told in trance was apparently a contradiction to free will. The guides said we do not lose free will in terms of freedom of choice as we are given objectives in the spirit world regarding tasks/reincarnation but we must still make a choice as regards how we meet those objectives. In other words whilst our duties of learning and advancement toward enlightenment were obligatory, we all had free will to choose the methods and pathways laid before us. If the same ends could be achieved whilst not in the physical then so be it, but many lessons could only be learnt through experience whilst in the physical form. The guides went on to say that overcoming animal and base tendencies inherent within the human form, was a part of our learning and advancement!

Philosophy of self…
Have you ever wondered who or what you are as a person? Or have you ever considered how other people see you? Some would say that neither of these matter until you fully regard, acknowledge and accept your inner spiritual self. For it is only when you do this, that you can understand what other people may see, and have the insight and ability to adjust yourself accordingly.
Where does one start with a philosophy on self? You may say, start at the beginning, but where is that? Birth, childhood, the very first high school class or employment?
In my case I am compelled to say that it was at the commencement of my spiritual awakening. The moment that I became aware that I was sensitive to the vibrations around me and accepted them in a responsible and reasoned manner. This excludes early childhood then to some degree. For in childhood, yes, I knew I was sensitive, but I had no conditioning, no control. I was as influenced by my awareness of dark forces as I was by light, and as equally frightened by both at a young age.
So my moment of true ‘awakening’ then was probably around the age of fourteen or fifteen. Whilst struggling with the complications of being a teenager, I was accutely aware that the forces around me were directly related to my existence as a physical human being. In some way, as a consequence of my thoughts, words and deeds; darkness and light were often reflected, ‘as a mirror’, particular to my mood at any given time. Looking back, I suppose this was a dangerous time for a sensitive, as, put in the same terms as the film ‘Star Wars’, I could so easily have been ‘seduced by the Dark Side’. So what stopped me being so? Well, I think it is because that, at the same time, I was developing a mental perspective on life and its meaning, which allowed me to consider the matter of myself, in context with societal norms and peer expectations. Basically I was entering a phase of ‘growing up’ which meant that I was learning to differentiate (from my spirit within and without) between right and wrong.
Again looking back I can clearly relate to the notion of negative energy perpetuating more negative energy and vice versa. I guess this period of my life can also adequately be summed up as an emerging awareness on my part, of ‘personal responsibility’ to both myself and others.
So Philosophy!
Along the timeline of Teen to Present Day I have experienced many heart rending situations. I have known disability, trauma, various kinds of abuse, illness and I have also dealt with death at many levels. On reflection however, I can equally as easily recall happiness, joy, elation and love at both a physical and spiritual level.
To me then the philosophy of self, is dictated by the personal journey of the individual through life. The ability of that individual to relate and react to that journey in terms of moulding one’s traits and attributes to a positive end, and allowing such experience and circumstance as may be endured from time to time, to culminate in a full knowledge of ones-self, whilst maintaining life balance, empathy and compassion for others.
In contemplating my own position in life, through meditation, I came to realise that there were others around me who would not be aware of their own place in this context. It is fair to say that this has led to a greater understanding on my part, as regards how I approach such people and interact with them for the better. However, it is also said that, to fully understand another persons position you should wear their shoes. If you consider this philosophy you can do so, but my point is, if you also consider yourself first as if from their perspective, then you can go one step beyond wearing their shoes and actually look through their eyes too!

Pathways through life…
There are many ways that we can live our lives, but when we consider that our lifespan is gone within the blink of a cosmic eye, then perhaps we should contemplate the matter of how we live our lives just a little more, by way of doing the subject some justice!
It would be far easier (and its never too late) to adjust our lifestyle now and follow a different path, than to amend it (or otherwise mend our ways!), when we are facing our exit from the stage of life, possibly leaving behind regrets and only partially fulfilled dreams and aspirations.
Below is a link to an article that I have produced, with some spirit intervention, which is designed to promote thought about the life one could lead, in the context of one’s relationships with others. I don’t demand, suggest or otherwise thrust opinions at the reader. I simply ask that the article be read with an open mind and an open heart.
Peace be with You…
